The Director of Child Rights International, Bright Appiah has added its voice on numerous calls that the Proprietor of Great Lamptey Mills, Enoch Lamptey Mills should be made to face the full rigors of the law, following a publication that he has impregnated one of his pupil, a 16-year –old girl.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) had earlier served notice it would blacklist the Great Lamptey Mills School if its proprietor is found culpable of illicit affairs with students.
Mr. Appiah explained that Mr. Lamptey may exonerated by the court, but Child Rights International deem it necessary to ensure that the victim who has been a school drop out due to child bearing to have her freedom protected.
He noted that his personally disappointed by the family of the girl who preferred to settle this serous case out of court.
Bright Appiah said he has therefore filed a writ against Lamptey Mills at CHRAJ to ensure that the right of the victim is protected.
He raised this issue on Edwaso Nsem in an interview with Ekourba Gyasi this morning.

Enoch Nii Lamptey Mills walked free after the father of a victim secured an out-of-court settlement in a case in which he was charged with compulsory marriage of one of his students after impregnating her.
