Items took from the former speaker’s official residence will be returned today.
One of the legal Aids to the former speaker, Atta Akyea in an interview with Adom Kasiebo said all arrangements have made to transport the items from the former speaker’s house in Cantonments to the current speaker’s official residence.
It will be recalled that the Former Speaker of Parliament, Begyina Sekyi- Hugh’s was summoned to the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) to explain why he took all the items in his official residence when leaving the place to his private residence.
Mr. Begyina Sekyi-Hughes first took the items to his Takoradi but transported them back in Accra when BNI ordered the retrieval of the items.
Mr. Atta Akyea spoke to Akuamoah Boateng on how the items will be transported from Cantonments to the current Speaker’s official residence.
