As the rains intensify in this rainy season, people living in areas with untarred roads find it very difficult to get access to transportation to their various destinations.
Farmers in the hinterlands are the most affected people.

The NDC MP for the area, John Gyetuah said the road from the constituency capital, Asankraguah to Sameraboi is in a very poor shape making transporting of farm produce very difficult.
He noted that apart from the main road from Asakragua which is tarred but with many potholes on it, the other trunk roads is not accessible at all.
Mr. John Gyetuah disclosed that contractors who were awarded the roads have also abandoned the work with reasons best known to them.
He spoke to Akuamoah Boateng about the state of some roads in the constituency.
In the neighboring Central Region, the NPP MP for Upper Denkyira west, Benjamin Kofi Ayeh also shared his experience as far as non-motorable roads in his constituency is concerned.
